Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 District Nurse to join our Rapid Response Service in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire. You will work closely with an integrated team, managing and supporting senior nurses, staff nurses, and nurse associates to deliver high-quality urgent nursing care across diverse communities.
This role is suitable for a newly qualified or experienced District Nurse passionate about community nursing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and leadership qualities in a supportive environment.

Main Duties
The role involves 50% leadership/teaching and 50% clinical duties. It is a developing position within our locality, initially providing clinical and management support to senior nurses, with potential for line management of senior staff and team oversight.

* First Level Registered Nurse
* Specialist Community Practice District Nursing Qualification
* Recent post-registration/professional learning
* Prescribing Qualification (V100, V150, or V300)
Desirable
* IPPE (Teaching In Practice Module) - SPQPE role only
* Recognised Teaching Qualification
Experience & Knowledge
* Understanding of community health policies
* Partnership and team working skills
* Proven leadership and influencing practice
* Clinical competence in Leg Ulcer Management, Continence Care, Palliative and EOL Care
