You will provide tactical Supply Chain support to UK Fixed Wing activities and contracts utilizing Supply Chain Support Best Practice. Responsible to the Fixed Wing Execution Manager. You will be aware of and adhere to Boeings Go4Zero H&S Policies and Security Protocols.Job Description/Responsibilities:Scope of the Role:Day to day management of assigned parts Process Order and Repair RequisitionsAction all demand requisitions on a daily basis using Required Delivery Dates as the mechanism to prioritise requirements.Escalation of known problems and any risk to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to Supply Chain ManagementSupport Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for spares that fail their Required Delivery Date (RDD), reporting completed analysis to P-8A Supply Chain ManagementGenerate supply solutions of assigned parts for those requirements not immediately available.Efficiently prioritise all tasks and work to best support the business needs.Develop and maintain relationships with support organisations to ensure a seamless support is providedConduct Supply Chain Support activities in line with Business Unit Processes and Procedures. Review and amend Processes and Procedures when gaps/errors are identified during the day to day activitiesMentor junior members of the team in Supply Chain Best Practices and help resolve minor issues as they become experiencedProvide SME guidance and support to internal stakeholders for long-range Programme requirementsHost meetings pertinent to the success of assigned RAAs.Support ad-hoc tasks allocated by management to support business requirementsProvide out of hours service as required.Program/EnterpriseAdopt Boeing best practices to identify Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities and participate in Employee Involvement (EI) projects to identify Cost Reduction Initiatives (CRI).Develop individual WorkLife priorities to be aligned with Business prioritiesTake actions to manage and complete directed WorkLife priorities by the managerCorrectly and diligently record all your accrued labour time in WorkLife on a daily basis against the correct and authorised activity ID.Travel to external meetings with suppliers, customers etc. as approved.Key interfaces: Platform Operations team(s)Liaison between all Supply chain functionsBoeing engineering and QualityBoeing Global Services and other Boeing organisations as requiredRoyal Air Force Logistics Support personnelDefence Equipment & Support (DE&S)/P-8A Delivery TeamBoeing IT Support ServicesBoeings contracted transport suppliers Systems:SAP, GOLDMRO, EXTENDER, BASE, BPP, SPO/SPM, BORIS, IQDS, VECTOR, Workday/WorkLife, TURTLE. REQUIRED, BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Experience of Supply Chain activities & operations, ideally within the Aviation/Defense industry in a fast-paced working environment.Experience of Supply Chain ERP systemsFlexible, highly motivated with a pro-active approach to assigned duties.Able to work within a small and dynamic team.Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word. Excel and PowerPoint).Demonstrate sound communication skills to deal with all customers and colleagues.Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (nice to have):Experience working with SAP, Military Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI), Government On-Line Data (GOLD) would be an advantageous but not essential.CIPS Qualifications would be advantageousPrior knowledge/ experience working with a commercial airline operating 737 or the Royal Air Force will be an advantage.This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency.
