Job Title: Teaching Assistant/Autism Practitioner
Location: Baston House School, Bromley, Kent BR2 7AB
Salary: £23,500.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an Autism Practitioner to join our close-knit team at Baston House School, part of Options Autism.
About The Role
The primary responsibility of our Teaching Assistant/Autism Practitioner is to deliver high-quality educational support to Service Users, in line with Company policies, procedures, and practices, as well as the standards set by the Regulatory Body.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher or tutor to ensure the delivery of high-quality education for all students.
* Assist in implementing all relevant education policies and procedures fully and effectively.
* Provide appropriate support to students, individually or in groups, enabling them to access the curriculum as independently as possible.
* Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students, following Company policies.
* Ensure efficient use, storage, and maintenance of equipment and resources, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff.
* Help organise the classroom environment, including resources, student groupings, and displays, to create a stimulating learning setting tailored for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
* Collaborate with teachers/tutors to write, update, implement, and evaluate individual student documentation such as Behaviour Support Profiles, Individual Risk Assessments, Individual Education Plans, Communication Profiles, and Pastoral Support Plans as required.
