Exciting Opportunity: Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist – West Adult Community Mental Health Team
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our West Adult Community Mental Health Team, based in West Norfolk and serving the surrounding areas.
Our team is a recovery-focused, multi-disciplinary group committed to delivering a professional, effective, and compassionate service to our service users and their carers.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional, ideally with a background in community mental health, who is passionate about supporting individuals and their families. You will have a solid understanding of the role of Care Coordinator/Assessor, particularly in working with individuals with complex mental health needs.
As part of our dedicated team, you will collaborate closely with a variety of partners to deliver tailored community-based interventions for those referred to our service.
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and conscientious Clinical Nurse Specialist who is eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of adults facing mental health challenges and to lead on clinical innovation within the team.

The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to provide specialist clinical interventions to our service users, their families and loved ones. It also involves delivery of leadership activities within the team.
If Appointed, You Will
* Deliver clinical interventions.
* Work as a non-medical prescriber.
* Offer support, supervision and informal training to your colleagues.
* Contribute to multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
* Undertake other clinical tasks within the team.
* Supporting team members to manage complex cases
* Case holding for those with complex mental health needs
* Deputise for the Community Team Manager on occasion.
You will have a nursing qualification, be trained as a non-medical prescriber, and will have developed your skills through extensive experience in mental health.
