Job Description
This contract is working on a joint venture project in Saudi at pre-FEED stage comprising multiple on-shore PAUS up to 8000mt. The scope includes the development of all standards and procedures to client standards and all requirements for modular construction in a far-eastern module facility.
Responsibilities
* Taking responsibility for implementation and management of weight control process on major oil and gas project
* Preparation of regular project weight control reports
* Set-up, data acquisition and data entry for Wood weight control database (Access)
* Custodian and interrogation of historical data from existing database for use in benchmarking, checking and estimating weights
* Direct responsibility for weight control to project manager
* Direct interaction with clients and discipline lead engineers
Qualifications
* Proven familiarity and application of ISO 19901-5 from the development of project weight control procedures to final out-turn weight prediction including the derivation of weight database using the S3D
* UK Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an appropriate Engineering Discipline subject
* A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done
* Self-motivated, energetic and tenacious
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels up to top management
* IT/Computer Literate
* An open attitude to the role’s responsibilities
* Good management skills
* Willing to be part of a Project Team with consideration of other discipline inputs
