Introduction:
Lancashire County Council's in-house Digital Services team have an opportunity to join a customer facing and engaging team as an experienced Business Change Analyst.
The role will give you opportunities to take responsibility for leading and delivering the analysis, re-design and transformation/change activity for multiple projects/programmes as part of minor or major change initiatives across the authority. The role will work closely with service areas to understand, baseline and document current activity, undertake root cause analysis and use a variety of change management techniques to develop/redesign solutions and processes, influence and deliver transformational change, improve performance, reduce risk and improve business efficiency.
Candidate:
We are looking for an experienced business change analyst with proven business, service or systems analysis and redesign experience. You will ideally be trained in analysis/process/change management approaches and methodologies. We are looking for someone with experience of using business process improvement techniques and tools for the delivery of business efficiency and improvement. An individual with a sound understanding, and experience, of implementing ICT solutions and data management in managing the impact on business activity/processes of change.
You will be passionate and enthusiastic about making a difference within the service in order to improve the experiences our customers have and exceed their expectations. Interpersonal skills and excellent communication is imperative working in this role, as we are a customer centric service who strive to provide high quality delivery at all times. You'll need a consistent approach, with the ability to follow standard processes and procedures and deliver these in a timely and effective manner. You should have strong stakeholder management skills to liaise with colleagues at all levels in the service areas confidently, acting as an influential change agent in challenging and supporting change in business views, cases and processes
You will need to be a good problem solver and be able to identify key, complex issues while making effective decisions. Your analytical skills will allow you to interpret data and anticipate any potential problems so you can assess the options available to you. We want you to grasp business processes and adapt quickly to various challenges that arise, all while remaining personable and approachable.
