Location: Hybrid - with weekly travel to offices (Hemel Hempstead, Northampton & Wolverhampton)
Job Length: 9-12 Month FTC - Full Time

About the role:
We seek a proactive, detail-oriented individual to support statutory reporting, audits, and forecasting, while helping shape efficient finance processes. You'll collaborate across functions and contribute to the success of our brands. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities include:
* Supporting interim and year-end audits for reporting and statutory purposes
* Assisting in the preparation of UK statutory accounts
* Supporting annual balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
* Preparing monthly reports in HFM for group companies
* Preparing journal entries and supporting month-end closing
* Supporting internal audits and control engagements
* Managing the Defined Benefit Pension scheme reporting
* Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline
* Supporting ad hoc financial projects and liaising with the wider business
Experience and key attributes:
* Part or fully qualified accountant
* Good understanding of IFRS and FRS 102
* Self-starter with initiative
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Willingness to drive change and process improvements
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Experience with SAP or HFM preferred
