What will you deliver?
 * Support to Royal Navy and export platforms in defect rectification:
 o Conduct and supervise front‑line support including fault diagnosis and testing, and acceptance trials both in harbour and at sea.
 o Provide on‑call telephone support to customers.
 o Write site‑visit reports.
 * Support to Royal Navy and export platforms during maintenance periods/refits:
 o Conduct Pre‑Upkeep Maintenance Assessment (PUMA) inspections.
 o Conduct and supervise scheduled maintenance activities.
 o Advise the Service Delivery Manager of stores required for the refit.
 o Escalate engineering issues to the Field Services Manager or Service Delivery Manager as required.
 o Write post‑maintenance reports.
 * Weekly reports to the Service Delivery Manager or Field Services Manager, detailing:
 o Activities undertaken.
 o Upcoming activities.
 o Successes, challenges and opportunities.
 o Support required from the project or department.
 o Compliance with export control rules and regulations including ITAR.
 o Additional ad‑hoc duties consistent with the position.
Who are we looking for?
 * Significant track record of performance in a relevant engineering discipline.
 * Preferably experienced with complex systems (electrical, electronic and hydraulic).
 * Capable of leading the resolution of issues, problems, questions and conflicts for the team.
 * Strong interpersonal skills.
 * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
 * Demonstrated high level of self‑motivation.
 * Ability to work effectively under pressure.
