Role: Youth Support Worker (Link Club sessions for young people aged 13 to 25 with disabilities)
Location: Hawtonville Young People Centre, Newark, NG24 4HX
Type: Permanent, Part Time - Term Time Only
Hours per week: 2.5
Working pattern: Office based
Working Arrangements: 1 session per week, Wednesday 6:00pm–8:30pm
Salary: £12.85 – £13.02 per hour

Responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with young people aged 13 to 25.
* Work as a team member to deliver and manage positive activities during the session for young people.
* Be able to complete training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification. This includes some Saturday training (estimated 9 Saturdays) plus some evening training online and in person.
* Be responsive to change during the session and work as a team to resolve any issues.
* Be a positive role model to young people.
Qualifications and Training
* Induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification or ability to complete it.
* Willingness to participate in required training sessions as noted above.
