We have an exciting opportunity for a personable and customer‑focused IT Triage Technician to join our IT department on a 12‑month fixed term contract basis. You will be joining a supportive and dynamic team, where you can develop your technology skillset.
As an IT Triage Technician, you will be the first point of contact for all IT‑related issues, providing top‑notch technical support and ensuring smooth operations across the firm. Your role will involve diagnosing, tracking, and resolving IT issues, managing software installations, and offering guidance on IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first‑level IT support via phone, email, and in‑person.
* Diagnose and resolve IT issues, escalating when necessary.
* Manage software installations, configurations, and upgrades.
* Support IT applications and hardware, including iPhones and laptops.
* Maintain detailed records of all interactions and resolutions.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft desktop and server technologies.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a client‑first focus.
* Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and collaboration.
* Relevant qualifications (ITIL Foundation, Azure Fundamentals) are an advantage.
