Job Title: SENCo
Location: Red Kite School, Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, HP27 0JW
Hours: 40 per week Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm
Salary: £40,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

About the Role
As our SENCO, you will sit at the heart of a multi‑disciplinary team, shaping strategy, inspiring colleagues, and ensuring that every pupil with SEND thrives academically, socially, and emotionally. With collaboration, innovation, and compassion as your tools, you will help guide our school toward excellence in inclusive education.
You Will:
* Lead the development and strategic direction of SEND provision at Red Kite School.
* Ensure compliance with the Equality Act and champion inclusive practice.
* Oversee day‑to‑day SEND provision, including support for pupils with EHCPs.
* Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and multi‑agency professionals.
* Monitor pupil progress and lead assessments to ensure all learners thrive.
* Chair Annual Reviews and ePEPs, ensuring high‑quality documentation.
* Support staff with training, targeted interventions, and inclusive teaching strategies.
* Maintain accurate SEND records and contribute to whole‑school improvement plans.

Red Kite School is a brand‑new, purpose‑built independent SEN school, designed to support up to 60 pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Set in the beautiful market town of Princes Risborough, its a truly exciting time to join us as a founding member of staff and help shape a nurturing, inclusive learning environment from the ground up.
