Purpose of job We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and coordinate cleaning staff and ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties include: Sweep, vacuum and mop the floors (variety of surfaces) Ensure the shower facilities are operational daily – including cleaning the shower screens, trays and ensure the seals are in good order Ensure the toilet facilities are clean, presentable and any damage reported Top up bathroom materials – such as toilet rolls, cleaning products etc. Clean soap dispensers, refill as necessary Clean mirrors Empty and clean all office and bathroom bins Ensure tables and chairs are clean and in working order Ensure walls and door frames are free of dirt and cobwebs Maintenance of coffee machines (cleaning trays, discarding waste and clearing the buckets) Weekly cleanse of the office lifts Weekly cleanse of the office skirting boards The candidate Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Basic computer skills (for reporting and scheduling). Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff across assigned areas. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and work rosters. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit requisitions as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards. Handle staff performance issues, report incidents, and support disciplinary actions if necessary.
