Job Overview
As a Senior Trainer and Coach, you’ll shape and deliver advanced training programs for AWS’s global field organization, including front‑line managers and leaders. Your work will influence senior teams in articulating AWS’s value proposition, creating strategic outcomes, and supporting enterprise‑level customer success through sophisticated training, executive coaching, and immersive learning experiences. You will develop content that addresses enterprise challenges, aligns with emerging trends—including artificial intelligence—and advances AWS’s enablement strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver global enablement and training programs for field teams and leaders.
* Contribute to the development and iteration of training programs to meet evolving business needs.
* Conduct high‑impact training with advanced instructional techniques, executive coaching, immersive learning, and workshops.
* Create engaging learning experiences that incorporate innovative strategies and technologies.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure strategically aligned delivery of training content.
* Provide content and class feedback to course developers to drive continuous improvement.
* Integrate AWS strategy, mission, and technology into enterprise‑level training.
* Guide field members in translating AWS solutions into compelling business outcomes.
* Ensure consistency and excellence in program delivery across regions, with necessary customization.
* Stay current on AWS services, industry trends, and value propositions.
* Design post‑program activities to reinforce learning and application.
* Gather and analyze training participant feedback for continuous improvement.
* Travel up to 60% of the time to deliver in‑person training regionally and globally.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in B2B sales.
* Experience influencing at all levels, particularly at the executive level.
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
* Experience leading cross‑functional projects and managing large, complicated programs.
* Experience in a training role, including technical training, performance management, coaching/mentoring, or facilitation.
* Experience presenting to technical and non‑technical executive audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or experience engaging and influencing senior executives with strong familiarity with decision‑making processes in enterprise customers.
* Experience with instructional design, curriculum architecture, or training program development.
* Experience managing large teams across multiple locations and languages.
* Knowledge of cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and programming languages.
* Experience with AI/ML technologies.
