Join Our Team as a Tax and Risk Specialist!
Are you a highly motivated individual with a passion for finance? Our client, a leading organisation in the banking sector, is seeking a talented Tax and Risk Specialist to join their dynamic Capital and Income Service Team in London.
Start ASAP, pay £400 per day via umbrella, hours Monday- Friday 40 hours per week, hybrid three days a week in the office, duration of the role is for 5 and a half months, location- Canary Wharf.
About the Role:
Seeking a highly motivated Tax and Risk specialist to join our clients banking team. Candidate will bring understanding of general taxes (personal/withholding/international). Experience of risk management framework/audit in a banking or family office role would be advantageous. However, not essential. Candidates should demonstrate an awareness of general financial planning and use of wealth and estate structuring for ultra-high net worth clients.
As part of our client Global Wealth UK front office banking team, you'll collaborate with various banking teams across EMEA to support proprietary services. This hands-on position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Address front office queries and provide exceptional support.
Assist in implementing and monitoring the risk management framework.
Collaborate with product and risk partners to ensure compliance.
Work alongside Bankers and Investment Counsellors to enhance private banking services.
Analyse transaction data and identify exceptions.
Drive process enhancements and automation in reporting and risk management.
What We're Looking For:
Strong analytical skills, particularly in MS Excel.
A background in Tax, Accounting, or Legal is preferred, but not mandatory.
Knowledge of investment products is advantageous.
A robust approach to risk management and compliance.
