A dedicated professional is sought for a contract position set to mence in January 2025 and extend through the end of the school year. This role is based in Wilmington, MA, within a vibrant middle school environment, focused on providing tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs.
Location: Wilmington, MA
Responsibilities:
* Provide inclusion support to students in a collaborative learning environment.
* Assist individuals in the educational learning center, aligning with their unique special education goals.
* Conduct evaluations for student eligibility and re-eligibility for special education services.
* Generate and present reports based on evaluation outes.
* Actively chair and participate in IEP meetings and professional development discussions.
Qualifications:
* Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education License in Moderate Disabilities (5-8).
* Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement preferred.
* Experience or training in Safety Care processes is a plus.
* Strong munication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
