Overview
The role of Associate Technical Support Analyst is important to us. You’ll sit at the intersection of technology, problem solving, and customer interaction, working as part of a well-established team responsible for building, maintaining and supporting feature-rich platforms across both our Fuel and Electric Vehicle (EV) solutions. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and business users, assisting with product and software-related queries, ensuring a seamless and professional experience through timely responses and clear communication. You’ll apply problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to deliver effective resolutions while upholding excellent customer service standards. This role is based at Emperor Court in Crewe, Cheshire on the basis of a minimum 3 days per week in the office. It’s an excellent working environment with full access to our neighbouring Radius Campus head office facilities.

Essential Skills
* Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Break down complex issues into manageable steps, identify patterns, perform logical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Clear, concise verbal and written communication; translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.
* Exceptional Organisation: Manage tickets, prioritise tasks and use effective time management.
* Technical Understanding: Develop deep knowledge of the systems and technologies to support informed decision-making and problem resolution.
* Ownership & Support: Drive service excellence through SLA adherence and provide ongoing business support to ensure long-term value.
* Hands-On Involvement: Participate in key project activities, including training and documentation such as knowledge articles to enable self-help and improve operational efficiency.
What we expect of you
* A solid technical background enabling effective communication with development teams.
* A team-oriented, collaborative, and resilient mindset with attention to detail and sound judgement when escalating.
* Knowledge of SQL, with the ability to run queries to investigate issues, validate data, and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
* Familiarity with API testing tools such as Insomnia or Postman to test, validate, and troubleshoot API requests and responses.
* Analytical skills with the ability to gather and document detailed information to inform potential future development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive mindset with robust problem-solving abilities.
* Self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in fast-moving environments.
* Passionate about learning, growth, and continuous improvement.
* Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
* Understanding of microservices architecture will be an advantage.
