Role: Graduate Mechanical Support Engineer- £42500 per year basic 4 on/6 off shift pattern + overtime available)

This is an opportunity to join a team supporting operations at Airbus Broughton (Deeside, North West UK), working on highly advanced manufacturing and automation systems used in commercial aircraft production.

Role Overview
We have some great opportunities for Engineering Graduates and more experienced Graduates with solid experience in industry (BEng) ideally in mechanical engineering or similar, to work for a world leader in the design and manufacturing of aerospace machine automation.
You will be part of a specialist on-site engineering team responsible for maintaining and supporting complex aerospace machinery, including:
• Assembly systems for commercial aircraft wings
• Riveting machines and tools for wing panel and fuselage assembly
• Robotic assembly systems
• Spacecraft handling equipment
This is a hands-on role focused on fault finding, maintenance, and continuous improvement, where you’ll quickly develop practical, real-world engineering expertise.

• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults on advanced machinery

Requirements
• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• Full UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one very soon)
• Strong practical aptitude and confidence working with tools/equipment
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and follow structured processes
