A respected primary school located in the L33 area is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join its team. This is a full-time, term-time position offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the class teacher to support the physical and general care of individual pupils and small groups. The role involves assisting with learning activities, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing to a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging in learning activities
* Assist with the care and supervision of pupils, including those with additional needs
* Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions
* Prepare and organise learning materials as directed by the teacher
* Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and behaviour
* Supervise pupils during break times, school trips, and other activities

Essential Requirements
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience working with children in an educational setting
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Legal right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
