Paint Sprayer/Mechanical Inspector - Bamber Bridge
As a Car Paint Sprayer, your primary responsibility is to ensure the flawless application of paint on vehicles, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting customer satisfaction. You will work within an automotive repair or manufacturing setting, collaborating closely with other team members such as auto body technicians, painters, and supervisors to deliver exceptional results.
When business dictates, the role will extent to light mechanical work on vehicles. For example, multi point inspections and pre delivery inspections on used vehicle being prepare for, or ready for sale.
Key Responsibilities - Paint Spraying
1. Preparation: Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint.
2. Mixing Paint: Accurately mix paints to match the manufacturer's specifications or the customer's desired color, using paint mixing equipment and following established formulas.
3. Application: Apply paint using spray guns, ensuring even coverage and consistent color matching while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
4. Detailing: Perform detailed work such as blending, buffing, and polishing painted surfaces to achieve a smooth, glossy finish free of imperfections.
