We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join our Medical Records team at our Liverpool office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.
You will be working assisting file handlers with obtaining medical records for their client's personal injury claim. Ensuring the medical records are available for the appointed medical expert to review in a timely manner.

Responsibilities to include:
· Obtaining clients authority for release of their medical records
· Applying for client's medical records from all necessary providers using a signed form of authority
· Processing client's medical records and ensuring they are dealt with in accordance with GDPR rules and in a timely manner.
· Ensuring medical records are confidentially sent on the secure service to our medical expert for review as part of the client's claim.
· Chasing clients by telephone, who have not returned their authority form, to try and obtain these in SLA
· Chasing medical record providers by various communication methods to obtain clients medical records within SLA
· Assist file handlers and clients with any medical record related queries
About You:
· Good organisational skills
· Computer skills
· An ability to be able to prioritise work, work to deadlines and the demands of the team
· Good customer service skills
· Admin experience is preferred
