WorkwithYorkshire are working with a client who have a fantastic opportunity for an Events Executive to join their company. This is a full time permanent role based in Leeds, with some flexibility to work from home. You will provide effective event management support to the Business Development & Marketing team, delivering a complex mixture of events.
Duties:
* You will manage all in‑person, virtual and hybrid firm events.
* You will deliver these from proposal, through planning to completion, on time and within budget.
* This includes webinars, seminars, roundtables, conferences, receptions, networking events and social events.
* Where required you will need to organise couriers to deliver all of the equipment needed to conferences e.g. stand, banners, and collateral
* You will need to keep the calendar of events up‑to‑date and project manage each event
* Working with colleagues, you will ensure that all event administration is completed in a timely manner
* You will report on the events coming up and produce month end reports.
Key skills and experience;
* One year’s experience in event management, preferably in a professional services environment
* Desired: Marketing qualification (such as CIM certificate Level 4 or higher)
* You will be confident and pragmatic have a positive attitude.
* Well organised with a project-management approach to your work and a high level of attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in relation to MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
