Job Title: General Practice Auditor
The ideal candidate will have varied general practice experience, including undertaking audit assignments on a variety of clients. Experience leading audits would be advantageous.
The role involves a mixture of accounts, tax, and audit work, providing exposure to a diverse client base, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across various industry sectors.
Responsibilities
1. Act as an advisor to owner-managed businesses on accounts and business issues.
2. Lead audit assignments from planning to conclusion, including supervising staff and managing client relationships.
3. Review work to ensure quality and compliance with professional standards.
4. Monitor budgets, billing, and collections.
5. Report to the manager/partner in charge.
6. Prepare statutory accounts for various client types and sizes.
7. Prepare business and corporate tax computations and returns, handling routine tax queries.
Skills and Qualifications
* ACA/ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified.
* Experience in undertaking audit assignments.
