Your Job Title Children's Home Residential Support Worker Where you will be based Bolton The Service Users Children and Young People with Learning Difficulties The Company The company is a charity that offers different services to young people with Learning Difficulties within the community, from schools to sports centres and much more. The company has a very strong Ofsted track record, attaining Good and Outstanding across the board. They are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where every child and young person is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential to help Children and Young Adults fulfil their potential. What does Progression look like Once you have attained your Level 3 in Children's Residential, there is ample opportunity to move into Shift Lead and Team Leader roles. Working Week and Pay Base Salary: £24,490 equivalent to £12.69 per hour Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Sleep-in rate: £42per sleep Sleeps: 8 to 10 sleeps per week Total approx take home salary: £28,522 to £29,530 Holiday Entitlement: 30 days (including public holiday allowance), equating to 222 hours. Additional Information: Induction: Comprehensive induction and ongoing training are provided to support you in your role. Training: Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development with access to your Level 3 in Children's Residential Care Benefits: Additional flat-rate payment for sleep-in shifts, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Support: Access to supervision, appraisal, and staff meetings to ensure professional growth and development. Compliance: Compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to maintain high standards of care. What you will need/Non-Negotiables Experience: Experience working with children or young adults with disabilities Driving Licence: Desirable but not essential Fluent in English: Speaking and understanding different UK dialects Min Age: 23 Right to Work in the UK Indefinitely (Individuals on Visa that expire within 3 years will not be considered.
