Job Title: Domiciliary Care Worker (Driver Required) Location: High Orchard, Gloucester (GL1)
Job Purpose:
To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. This role requires the use of your own vehicle for travel between service users.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) in line with care plans
Support with medication administration and meal preparation
Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
Build positive relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Accurately maintain care records and report concerns to supervisors
Travel between clients' homes in a timely and professional manner
Requirements: Full UK driving licence (manual or automatic)
Access to your own vehicle.
Previous experience in care (preferred but not essential full training provided)
Reliable, compassionate, and respectful approach
Right to work in the UK
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
Desirable: NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
Experience with dementia, palliative care, or learning disabilities
