Job Summary:
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager EMEA, you will support the credit control team on a temporary basis by managing the cash application process across Europe. Your contribution will play a major role in supporting the team to maintain efficient ledgers across the business and identify key issues as they arise.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing and processing all payments in a timely manner as they arrive.
2. Booking the incoming customer payment of several currencies across multiple countries in Europe.
3. Ensuring cash is allocated on a daily basis and reconciled into the appropriate accounts.
4. Processing the month-end bank reconciliations.
5. Preparing customer statements, client status reports and any other relevant information as required.
6. Maintaining strong customer relationships and responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner.
Role Requirements:
1. Degree educated, a recent graduate or possess equivalent relevant experience in a related field.
2. Experience of working within a similar credit control team/AR environment would be desirable.
3. A good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
4. SAP experience or experience in a similar A/R management system is strongly preferred but full training will be given.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and with teams across multiple offices and countries.
6. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to investigate issues and provide good solutions to problem areas.
7. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
