We’re looking for
a Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our customers Nuneaton site, Working 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,325. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. To cost effectively dispatch routes to achieve contractual delivery times, conducting remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.
2. To ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism
3. To liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub contractors minimising the cost impact to the business
4. To ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line management
5. To ensure that defected vehicles are recorded on traffic sheets
What you need to succeed at XPO:
6. Working knowledge of driver hours regulations
7. Good geographical knowledge of the UK
8. Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
9. Operational understanding of team roles
