What does a Classroom Cover Supervisor do?
Supervise lessons in the teacher’s absence, ensuring learning continues effectively and safely
Deliver pre-prepared lesson resources and maintain pupil engagement throughout the session
Promote positive behaviour and uphold school policies and expectations
Support pupils to stay on task and encourage independent learning
Be a positive role model, promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience

✅ What we’re looking for
A degree in any subject OR proven experience working with young people and confidence in leading a class
Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
The ability to adapt quickly to different schools, environments, and pupil needs
Experience in education, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, or mentoring is beneficial – but not essential
A positive, professional attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference
