The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality mechanical systems across a variety of building types, including high-end residential properties and technically demanding commercial and industrial spaces. You will: Develop mechanical designs from concept through to detailed design and construction phases Produce reports, drawings, and specifications aligned with all RIBA stages Undertake mechanical calculations using industry standard software Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants, including architects and contractors Attend site inspections and project meetings Supervise and mentor junior engineers and apprentices This role offers a unique blend of design responsibility and project exposure, with clear career progression opportunities into senior or leadership roles.
