CNC Turner -The Role
This position supports small batch CNC turning of high-precision transmission components, primarily within motorsport and aerospace sectors. You will work as part of a small, focused team, with support from offline programming systems.
CNC Turner - Key Competencies and Experience
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and route cards to manufacture components to high-quality standards within specified timeframes
* Experience operating CNC lathes, including:
* Victor Turn II 26 HD
* Leadwell LTC 25iL (Siemens 828D)
* Doosan Puma GT3100
* Familiarity with Fanuc controls (essential); Siemens control experience advantageous
* Ability to read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, including adjusting speeds and feeds
* Good understanding of turning tooling and correct application
* Advantageous: experience with manual lathes and/or Harrison Alpha 400 Plus NC lathe
* Comfortable working within a small team environment
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
* Flexible to support other areas of manufacturing when required
* Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery requirements
