About the Role
Join the Psychology Registrar Program at Grampians Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (GMHWS), a unique two-year initiative designed to build your expertise in psychological and recovery-oriented practice within a public mental health setting. Supported by the Victorian Allied Health Mental Health Graduate Program, this role offers comprehensive training, skill development, and diverse rotational experiences across GMHWS and community partner programs with Berry Street Take Two.
The Program provides psychology registrars the opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of the consumer journey through mental health services. It helps build competence and confidence as a Psychologist within an enthusiastic and nurturing multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to understand consumer and family needs.
* Deliver recovery-oriented care, risk assessments, and evidence-based psychological interventions aligned with best practices.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical treatment plans addressing biological, psychological, and social needs.
* Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to enhance client-centered, family-inclusive care.
* Contribute to case management duties as a Psychology Registrar within a multidisciplinary team that emphasizes, practices, and continually seeks to improve client-centered, family-inclusive, community-based, evidence-based, and best practices.
* Participate in individual and group supervision and actively commit to professional development as per the Psychology Board of Australia Psychology Registrar Program requirements.
Skills & Experience
* General registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with eligibility to enter a Registrar Program for Area of Practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
* Masters or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from an APAC-accredited course.
* Excellent clinical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with adaptability and problem-solving abilities.
