Job Title: Material Resource Planning Controller
Location: Lincoln (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 12 months rolling contract

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are seeking a Material Resource Planning Controller to join an Energy Industrial Turbomachinery business based in Lincoln. As a successful Material Resource Planning (MRP) Controller you will create, maintain and communicate detailed delivery plans for specific part orders within our supply chain that are commitment accepted to enable the master production plan to be achieved. You will also provide the Supply Chain Management Team (SCMT) with the implications of the delivery schedules ability to meet customer and business requirements.
Imagine This:

Manage Demand & Planning: Advise the Team Leader/Purchasing Manager on implications of meeting customer requirements in line with the Commitment Acceptance process. Maintain Master and Dynamic component planning data to cascade demand and create a committed supply plan.

Inventory & Supplier Management: Plan and manage supply chain stock to specified levels. Ensure SAP reflects supplier delivery commitments and manage schedule adherence (Exception Messages), including new part introductions, using standard processes and the Supply Chain pro-forma.

Compliance & Interface: Ensure process compliance using company standard systems and reports to mitigate delivery risks. Act as the primary interface, leading operational relationships and coordinating all planning, control, inventory, subcontract, delivery, and lead time improvement activities with suppliers.

Performance & Review: Lead business reviews with suppliers to ensure mutual requirements are met, considering Quality, Cost, and Delivery impact on the SCMT, involving other functions as needed. Assess supplier Load and Capacity constraints during reviews.

Issue Resolution: Manage and coordinate delivery issues, report shortages, manage recovery programs to plan, and escalate impacts as required
What You Need to Bring:

You will have working experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing or a Logistics discipline and a working knowledge of production planning and controls

You must be an excellent communicator that is robust in their approach along with problem solving and proactive skills.

Be able to deal with internal stakeholders & Customers
*
Have a good working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
