Assembly Technician - Days - Derry/Londonderry - Salary up to £33,000

Your Role
You will play a key role in helping the company achieve project milestones within specified timeframes and budgets. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities include assembling equipment and parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities
* Liaising between customers and management to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
* Maintaining, repairing, and servicing existing and new equipment in a tidy, safe, and efficient environment.
* Working with DC Systems in a clean room environment, including wet process equipment and automated assemblies.
* Assembling, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electrical, pneumatic, automation, and electronic components and systems.
* Assembling and modifying systems based on engineering instructions and technical manuals.
* Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation.
* Adhering to company and customer health, safety, and quality procedures.
* Providing technical support to meet production targets and quality standards.
* Operating machines, drills, and power tools safely as required.
Qualifications and Skills
* Recognized third-level qualification in an engineering discipline.
* Mechanical or electrical experience is essential.
* Transferable skills from a multi-skilled role.
* Experience diagnosing faults in mechanical and pneumatic systems.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong mechanical or electrical aptitude.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency with general computer applications.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Benefits
This position offers a 40-hour workweek on days, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times (core hours 09:00 - 16:00). The salary is up to £33,000, and holiday entitlement begins at 28 days per annum, with options to purchase up to 3 additional days.
