Salary: £45,000 - £62,000 + package

About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking Software Engineers to join a fast-growing team in Gloucester, delivering mission-critical solutions for National Security clients. You’ll work on meaningful projects that directly contribute to safeguarding the UK, while also having the opportunity to engage with community initiatives designed to inspire and develop the next generation of tech talent.
* Designing, coding, testing, and documenting software as part of complex systems.
* Providing accurate estimates for development work and delivering to agreed timelines.
* Supporting data processing and cloud-based projects, particularly within AWS environments.
* Analysing code defects and implementing timely fixes.
* Mentoring junior developers and sharing best practices within Agile teams.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong skills in at least one back-end programming language (Java preferred, but Python, Node.js, C++, or C also considered).
* A problem solver with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
* An eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
* Knowledge of cloud engineering (AWS, Docker, Microservices) is desirable but not essential.
* A collaborative mindset, with experience working in Agile environments.
Security Clearance
Please note that due to the nature of this work, applicants must be eligible for UK Security Clearance. Typically, this requires 5–10 years of continuous residency in the UK.
