Bridging the gap between top MEP, Data Centre & Life Science talent with Europe’s leading Construction Clients, Contractors and Consultancies
I am currently recruiting a Client-side Senior Design Manager to lead and coordinate a new hyperscale data centre campus in Paris that will consist of 2 no projects. The scope of this role is to represent the developer throughout preconstruction and delivery on all design related matters ensuring accurate alignment between schedule, budget and end objective.
This company is exciting, they have taken the core principals of consultancy services and added their own contracting expertise to create a more efficient, productive, streamlined and cost-efficient model.
In terms of experience, someone coming from a data centre background is advantageous however not a necessity. Project delivery ability, proven track record, knowledge of CSA and M&E packages experience is key.
* Regular meetings with the production team and ensuring all technical issues are addressed immediately
* Manage and coordinate full design management across MEP and CSA delivery
* Prepare technical specifications
* Liaise with key personnel within the project team in preparation of project costing and design works
* Control the design process, from planning application through to project completion
* Support Procurement and contractor interaction
* Develop Design Management Plan in accordance company standards
* Manage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered
* Ensure local French building regulations and standards are being adhered to by contractors.
* Review design development to allow construction of works to follow safe working practices
* Over five years’ experience as a design/technical manager with a main contractor
* CSA and MEP expertise is essential
* History of completing projects on time and budget
* A degree in Architecture or Engineering
