Customer Service Associate – 6-Month Contract
Location: On-site, Oxford
Rate: £16.92 per hour
About the Role
Join a leading organisation in the genetic research sector as part of the Customer Service team. You’ll be the first point of contact for key customers, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience from order to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Tier 1 customers within the EMEA region, ensuring excellent service and support.
* Partner with the Regional Commercial team to provide accurate, timely updates on Tier 1 accounts.
* Respond to customer queries on processes and products, ensuring satisfaction at every stage.
* Schedule, amend, and process orders through internal systems to meet customer needs.
* Communicate with customers via phone, live chat, and email from account setup through to product delivery.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Technical Support, Sales, Logistics, Finance, Digital, Business Operations) to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
* Meet and exceed customer service performance metrics and satisfaction targets.
* Carry out additional duties within the scope of the role as required.
Experience & Skills
* 2–4 years’ experience in customer service, with a strong track record of delivering excellent results.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
* Ability to build trust, influence, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
* Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail.
* Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
* Multilingual skills are an advantage (Italian or German preferred).
* Previous experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or with Distributors/Dealers is desirable.
Qualifications
* Degree (BA, BSc) or equivalent experience.
