About the role
The role involves the timely collection and re-delivery of customer and courtesy vehicles, ensuring customers are informed of delivery times and delays. Responsibilities include vehicle checks, collecting excess payments, explaining repair processes to customers, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key responsibilities
1. Carry out scheduled collection and delivery of customer vehicles, complete relevant paperwork, and ensure professional and efficient customer treatment.
2. Drive vehicles safely, considering weather and traffic conditions, and report any faults.
3. Ensure all documentation is accurate when transferring vehicles.
4. Clean courtesy cars to a high standard for customer collection.
5. Report accidents or incidents to the Bodyshop Manager promptly.
6. Collect payments and receipts, following financial procedures.
7. Gather customer paperwork, check courtesy cars for damage and cleanliness before delivery.
8. Coordinate with reception regarding vehicle damage or cleanliness issues.
9. Notify customers and reception of delays.
10. Complete customer paperwork on-site, noting vehicle details and damages.
11. Adhere to all health, safety, and housekeeping regulations.
12. Ensure vehicles meet safety standards upon return or report faults.
13. Complete office paperwork such as fuel logs and driver logs.
Skills and experience
* Full driving license with appropriate classification.
* Logistics experience.
* Experience in vehicle appraisal.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Good time management skills.
