Job Overview
To provide an accurate and prompt administrative function to facilitate the delivery of an efficient and effective appointment booking service. To provide comprehensive reception and booking support for Trauma and Orthopaedic services, demonstrating a courteous, professional, and sensitive manner at all times.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post - minimum level 3.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be part of a cohesive and integrated admin team. Duties include maintaining strict confidentiality and dealing with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff, and other service users via telephone and in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times.

Qualifications
* Good general education (Essential)
* NVQ Level 2 in relevant Administration or Customer Services (Desirable)
Experience
* Experience in customer service environment (Essential)
* Experience within a busy office environment (Desirable)
Aptitudes and Abilities
* Ability to speak Welsh
* Ability to prioritize workload
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Good knowledge of IT and Windows applications, including patient administration systems
