Position Title: Exterior Project Engineer
Duration: 10 Month Rolling Contract

Position Description:
Commercial vehicle Antenna Design and Release Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the To4 (Team of four) meetings with Finance, Cost Estimating, Commodity and Program Purchasing
2. Provide the engineering perspective for supplier selection by purchase
3. Prepare Engineering Statement of Work (ESOW), specifications, Engineering concept, and Attachment 3 for RFQ pack
4. Support cost negotiations between Purchasing and Supplier
5. Adhere to GPDS process and related program timings & document deliverables
6. Lead Antenna PMST and support other PMSTs and interfacing activities
7. Support Program Reviews Requirements Management
8. Ensure compliance to all applicable requirements
9. Support Global Core teams with Benchmarking events
10. Manage the Supplier for development of Antenna and/or associated interfaces
11. Support application into Vehicle Programs and ensure support for Program Launch
12. Develop new applications of implementation-ready technology
13. Support cross-functional team-working with STA, Supplier, affected PMTs, Brand, JV partners
14. Liaise with Styling and support Design Technical Operation (DTO)
15. Support Craftsmanship/Vehicle Harmony/Appearance reviews
16. Support DPA work streams and pre-Series builds
17. Drive issue resolution process via tracking tools and AIMS
18. Manage Client releasing tools such as FEDEBOM and WERS
19. Participate in supplier engagement process and support STA throughout phases
20. Provide sign-off of related components by managing DV/PVP and eFDVS
21. Provide/support Homologation and C/FMVSS documentation
22. Support investigation of requested changes
23. Ensure appropriate change management and status reporting for requested changes
24. Lead and coordinate the development of E/E sub-system FMA workstream
25. Lead OPD, Quality Improvement and Cost Reduction Programs
26. Support vehicle launch activities to meet program requirements
Skills Required:
Competent using office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to demonstrate use of initiative, perseverance, and liaison skills
Experience Required:
Excellent analytical and strategic skills
Project management skills with a thorough attention to detail
Experience of working within global teams
Strong IT skills (e.g. Excel, Teamcenter, WERS)
Ability to demonstrate use of initiative, perseverance, and liaison skills
Additional Information:
Full UK driving license is required
Travel may be required for launch/supplier support and testing
