Sunday Charcuterie is an award-winning producer of small-batch, artisan charcuterie made exclusively with free-range East Anglian pork. From salami and air-dried hams to terrines, pâtés, pork pies and ragus, we take a nose-to-tail approach, combining traditional methods with uncompromising quality. Now stocked in over 150 farm shops, delis, and food halls across the UK — including Fortnum & Mason, Daylesford Organic and Jarrolds — we're growing our team.
We are looking for a Charcuterie Production Assistant to support our hands-on production. This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in artisan food, butchery, or charcuterie to learn traditional methods and become part of a close-knit, passionate team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with butchery preparation, trimming, and portioning of meats
* Support the curing and drying processes, along with cooked product production (includingterrines, pâté, pork pies, sausage rolls & ragus)
* Monitor product quality and consistency throughout production
* Weigh, pack, and label finished products ready for retail
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the workspace
What We're Looking For
* Experience handling a knife preferred, although full training will be given
* A genuine interest in artisan food, butchery, or charcuterie
* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
* Willingness to learn new skills and follow traditional methods
* Comfortable with the physical work associated with a butchery environment
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work well in a small, close-knit team
Hours & Pay
We are flexible: we are looking for two part-time candidates to fulfil this role however a full time position could be offer to the right candidate. We offer a competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience.
