Our stunning new home, Bridgewater Manor, is a purpose-built care home facility located in the popular Worsley Village, Salford. The home is registered to provide care to 71 residents with various needs, including residential and nursing care. It meets all CQC requirements, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality care for residents. We invest in the latest technology and offer daily activities and gentle exercise programs to enhance residents' wellbeing. All team members are carefully selected for their warmth and passion, with full induction and ongoing training through our in-house trainers and the New Care Academy. The home is rated GOOD by CQC in all domains. We maintain a zero agency usage policy for over 5 years by employing a permanent staff team, ensuring continuity of care from staff who know and residents trust. All staff are paid at least the national minimum wage.
We are seeking to appoint kind, caring, and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. You will provide quality care to residents according to Care Plans and contribute to the smooth running of the home. We offer full-time contracts with an hourly rate of £12.25. Shift times are 07:45-20:00, with alternate weekend working.
Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver hands-on, person-centred care to residents.
* Support residents in enjoying a good quality of life.
* Model best practices when delivering care.
* Assist residents with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in line with care plans.
* Contribute to daily resident records.
* Work effectively within a team and complete delegated tasks efficiently.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents and others you come into contact with.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment is preferred.
* Care certificate or equivalent, or willingness to achieve within the first 12 months.
* Good knowledge of care practices for older people.
* Understanding of the 6 principles of care and their application in residential/nursing settings.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Self-motivated and confident.
