Premises Manager Horsham Hours – 25 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday (split shifts) Start Date Mid-July Temporary or permanent Reed Education are working on behalf of a primary school near Horsham who are looking for a Premises Manager to take a lead on all premises matters. This role is due to start mid-July due to retirement. The opportunity could be either temporary or permanent depending on the candidate. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below: Take responsibilities for the maintenance and upkeep of the premises, including heating, plumbing and security systems, fixtures, and fittings. Take the lead on risk assessments Organise a schedule of annual checks and keep an up to date log of records and certificates Removal of leaves, litter, ice, and snow Undertake of arrange preventative maintenance to eliminate potential hazards Complete repairs where possible or arrange for external contractors if not Fire officer General gardening duties Monitor external contractors Liaise with the providers of the on-site nursery and the pre and after school club Respond to emergency call outs Maintain storage areas Carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by the Headteacher or Business Manager Please note, a DBS will be required for this role, however this can be arranged if you do not currently have one
