With a strong and growing order book, there are exciting plans for further expansion and equipment upgrades.What sets this business apart is its genuine commitment to people—providing ongoing training, development opportunities, and career progression to ensure their engineers stay at the top of their game.The Role As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while contributing to continuous improvement across the site.Key responsibilities include:Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on modern production equipmentWorking on three-phase motors and electrical control systems (sensors, relays, contactors, inverters, etc.)Fault-finding using electrical schematics and test equipment (e.g.
multimeters)Mechanical maintenance including conveyors, bearings, rollers, and gearboxesMaintaining and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systemsSupporting occasional strip-down and rebuild projectsUsing a CMMS system (tablet-based) for PPM and reactive maintenance tasksContributing to continuous improvement initiativesThe Person To succeed in this role, you should have:A recognised engineering qualification (ideally electrical)Proven maintenance experience in an industrial environment (e.g. FMCG, manufacturing, food & beverage, packaging, utilities)Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills with a focus on root cause analysisPLC experience (advantageous but not essential)The ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhy Apply?
