* Week 4: 16:00 - 04:00 + 1 hour on Saturday and Sunday
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a driven and forward-thinking Electrical Section Lead/Manager to join the team at our Mansfield site. This is a senior position with responsibility for leading and developing the electrical section, overseeing utilities, and ensuring the smooth running of all electrical systems on site.
This role would suit a hands-on engineer who has the technical expertise to lead by example, but also the ambition to step into a management position and influence the wider business. The successful candidate will be integral in ensuring equipment and utilities operate at peak performance, while driving continuous improvement and creating a culture of safety, reliability, and innovation.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the electrical section, setting clear objectives and supporting team development
* Deliver effective maintenance and improvement programmes across all electrical systems and utilities
* Ensure compliance with SHE standards, creating a safe and efficient working environment
* Oversee preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise performance
* Fault-find and programme on Mitsubishi & Siemens PLCs
* Support utilities management including boilers, gas, air handling, heating and ventilation
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence
* Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance performance and efficiency
What We're Looking For
* HNC or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics
* Utilities knowledge (boilers, gas, air handling, heating & ventilation)
* Experience with Mitsubishi & Siemens systems - programming and fault finding
* Strong understanding of multi-voltage AC/DC, inverters, panels, instrumentation and PCB boards
* Familiarity with CAD and electrical drawings
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous
* A proactive, ambitious individual looking to progress their career in a leadership capacity
