Band 7 - £50,861- £59,159 pro rata
Plus Distant Islands Allowance £1,406 pro rata

The above vacancy have arisen in the Emergency Department (ED) of the Western Isles Hospital offers an excellent opportunity to join a small but dynamic team in an advanced practice role.
The Emergency Department in a rural setting, is unpredictable and fast paced, providing both emergency care and minor injury service but a rewarding role. Successful candidates are required to be able to work as independent practitioners with expanded scope of practice, high analytical and judgement skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development, a high standard of practice and quality improvement. Proven experience at a minimum of 2 years as an ENP, Non medical prescribing and ANP qualification are essential. The department currently operates 12.5 hour shifts on day/night rotation.
You should have:
1. Appropriate NMC registration.
2. Proven experience as Emergency Nurse Practitioner at Band 6
3. Post graduate level Advanced Nurse practitioner qualification
4. Basic degree in Nursing, ENP training, Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification, up to date or commitment to completing ALS, EPLS & ETC/TNCC training
5. Commitment to delivery of person-centred care using sound evidence-based approach.
6. Good interpersonal skills.
7. Able to work co-operatively and flexibly within a small team.
