Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established Secondary School in Bury in their search for a reliable and professional Exam Invigilator to join their team for the upcoming examination period.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven experience in secondary school or wider education settings who is looking to support pupils in a calm, organised and professional manner during exams. Please note: only applicants with previous school-based experience will be considered for this position.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Preparing the exam hall and ensuring JCQ and school regulations are upheld
2. Supervising students throughout the duration of exams
3. Distributing and collecting exam papers securely and efficiently
4. Supporting students with access arrangements where required
5. Maintaining a calm and supportive environment, ensuring integrity of the examination process at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
6. Previous experience working in a secondary school or educational setting (essential)
7. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
8. Strong communication skills and professional conduct
9. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
This role begins on Monday 4th November and runs until Sunday 10th November, offering £13.68 per hour. Hours will vary depending on the exam timetable, so flexibility is key.
