Overview
Female Support Worker required to provide 2:1 support for an individual with complex needs living in their family home in Bramley, Rotherham. The role involves empathetic, patient and proactive support within a dedicated care team.
Shift Pattern
* 7:00am – 3:00pm
* 3:00pm – 10:00pm
* 10:00pm – 7:00am (Waking Night)
* 10:00am – 6:00pm
Pay and Hours
* Pay rate: £14.18 per hour
* Shift Pattern: 24 hours per week
What you’ll do
* Deliver personal care with dignity and respect
* Engage in meaningful activities based on the individual’s preferences
* Follow manual handling procedures
* Use a person-centred, PBS-informed approach to support behaviour and wellbeing
* Monitor sleep apnoea during the night (no CPAP required; repositioning for safety and comfort)
* Support with nutrition and dysphagia needs (training provided)
Who we’re looking for
* Experience with challenging behaviours
* Experience with learning disabilities and autism
* Team player with good communication and consistency
* Comfortable with pets and able to help maintain a positive home environment
* Flexible to work as part of a 2:1 team when needed
