This part-time QTS Tutor role in South Manchester provides a fantastic opportunity to work with students in Maths and English, focusing on students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a QTS Tutor, you will deliver Maths and English tuition during school hours (9 AM - 3 PM), tailoring your lessons to meet the individual needs of students who may require additional help. Your QTS qualification ensures that you can provide high-quality tuition that is aligned with the national curriculum, helping students gain the confidence they need to succeed academically. Key Responsibilities: Provide Maths and English tuition to students with SEN during school hours (9 AM - 3 PM). Develop and deliver personalised lessons to meet the specific learning needs of each student. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure they reach their full potential. Collaborate with school staff to support the development of each students academic abilities. Create personalised learning plans to enhance both academic and personal growth. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment. Requirements: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential for this role. At least 6 months of UK-based experience in tuition or working with children with SEN. Strong experience teaching Maths and English, with a focus on meeting students' individual needs. Availability for at least 3 days a week. Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. A proactive and student-centred approach to teaching.
