A respected specialist consultancy is seeking an experienced Fire Engineer to join their growing team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Fire Engineer looking to work on complex and challenging projects across residential, commercial, heritage and high-rise buildings. The successful Fire Engineer will play a key role in delivering retrospective fire strategies, bespoke fire engineering solutions and practical fire safety advice for existing buildings. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the Fire Engineer will help clients navigate complex fire safety challenges while ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry best practice. The Fire Engineer's Role The successful Fire Engineer will: Develop and review fire strategies for existing and complex buildings. Provide bespoke fire engineering advice across a diverse project portfolio. Conduct site inspections and fire safety assessments. Identify fire risks and develop practical, compliant solutions. Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations. Liaise with clients, design teams and key stakeholders. Support compliance with the Building Safety Act, Approved Document B and relevant British Standards. Research emerging technologies and innovative fire engineering solutions.
