Job Purpose
Reporting to the Production Manager, the mechanical fitter duties include
* Working from drawings, and assembling new conveyors, material handling systems, chutes including motors, gearboxes, bearing, couplings, rollers etc.
* The successful candidate will be required to assemble conveyor systems and sub-assemblies and should have experience using pillar drills, saws, punches and hand tools. Any welding experience would be advantageous but not essential.
The ideal applicant will be a time served assembly technician/fitter who has experience of conveyors/ material handling equipment assembly.
Key Objectives
* Experience (some or all) of Conveyors, Automation systems, Robotics, Special purpose machinery (including platforms and walkways)
* Some Electrical knowledge
* Welding experience (advantageous)

Working hours:
7 am and 3:30pmMonday to Thursday and
7:00am to 2:30pm on Friday
Workwear provided
Overtime Paid at time and a half (where required)
