Help Drive the Next Phase of Growth at inControl
Due to our continued expansion and ambitious future plans, inControl Systems Ltd is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to strengthen our commercial team and be a part of the next stage of the company’s growth.
This is a strategic role within a well-respected, independent control systems integrator — one that works across numerous industrial and process sectors.
You will be instrumental in developing new client relationships, securing new projects and contracts for our ever-growing, friendly team of control system engineers and digital solutions architects.
The Role
As Technical Sales Manager, you will:
* Be able to generate your own leads and contacts to increase our customer base
* Visit prospective clients, presenting inControl’s services and capabilities
* Understand both the technical needs and financial requirements of customers
* Translate client operational challenges into practical automation and digital solutions
* Develop new business opportunities in automation and industrial digital solutions
* Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using established CRM processes
* Convert opportunities into long-term successful customer relationships
The ideal candidate combines engineering understanding with commercial acumen, meaning they can sell inControl’s skills and services with knowledge and credibility.
The role is field based, working from home with an expectation to visit the office at least once per week. Hence you would require to be living within less than 2 hours drive of S43.
About you
Driven by a professional appetite for finding and winning new business, you will be equally at home working with end-user control engineers as you are in the plant director’s office explaining how inControl’s strengths, capabilities and experience can bring expert solutions to completion and support their business’s own process and productivity improvement plans.
Like the rest of inControl’s team, you should be able to demonstrate trust, confidence and expertise to all our customers and prospects.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an individual who:
* Is qualified in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation or a related discipline
* Highly conversant in the industry of automation & process control in hardware and software
* Is experienced in field sales and can provide examples of consistent success
* Is comfortable operating in industrial environments
* Understands control systems integration and process improvement
* Holds a current driving license with no more than three penalty points
A good, working understanding of industrial digitalisation would be an advantage. This is an area very complementary to our automation solutions and a significant differentiator for inControl.
